A Coruña will become a hub for battery research next week. On December 11–12, the city will host the semiannual meeting of the Alistore–European Research Institute. The event brings together more than 70 specialists from leading universities and research centers across Europe.
The meeting is organized by the CICA UDC Centro Interdisciplinar de Química e Bioloxía, the Universidade da Coruña, and the Resonac–UDC Sparking Truth Chair. The program covers several areas of advanced energy storage, including:
-
Next-generation batteries
-
Safer and more sustainable materials
-
Solid electrolytes
-
Electrochemical interfaces
-
PhD research progress within the Alistore network
Resonac will join the industrial session. Regional organizations will take part as well. Together, they will discuss current needs and opportunities across the energy-storage value chain.
This event strengthens ties between research, industry, and society. It also supports progress toward cleaner and more sustainable energy solutions.
