We are pleased to announce an important milestone in our sustainability journey, led by Javier Castineira, Global HSE and Sustainability Director, and framed within our Sparking Truth brand and philosophy. Upon the Resonac rebranding, we identified a unique opportunity to address the issue of our old uniforms, which had not been previously recycled like our usual waste, such as paper and plastic.

This ambitious textile recycling project was made possible by taking advantage of Galicia’s access to a pioneering global textile cluster, using advanced tools and know-how to develop an optimal solution for recycling our textiles. Now, our intention is to implement this process also in our facilities in America and Asia. 

As a result, our new bags are crafted from a blend of cotton from recycled garments, and polyester from recycled P.E.T bottles. Importantly, no dyes are used in the manufacturing process, ensuring that the bags are 100% recycled products.  We are together towards change.
